Documentaries are some of the most effective ways to learn about issues, and to educate people! They use elements of storytelling and compelling visuals to create a captivating narrative, and it works! We will be hosting the screening of the documentary, Disruption, by 350.org, and having some activities and a discussion. There will be light vegan refreshments as well. This event is hosted by youth leaders, and we are inviting everyone from YUMAI, but we are also inviting anyone, any age, who is interested in coming in and watching with us! Please share this with your friends, family, peers, and everyone you know! Posters will be put up at the library, and the middle school as well! It will be a very fun night, and everyone will learn a lot about the movements that are going on and what civil disobedience means. On another note, our summer meeting dates have been announced on the home page, and they will be every other week, in the heritage room! Any members who are looking to get involved or stay updated can check the member info page too! Have a wonderful week! (Our thunderclap will be announced on Wednesday or Thursday, so remember to check back in)
